Roles and opportunities to join Konnections

by | Jul 25, 2021 | Workshop

With our Movember & DGR Social Connections Challenge project underway, we have a few key roles we are looking to welcome into the fam. Together we’ll be orchestrating an epic events calendar, communal build nights, live streams and more. The short of it; We want to create social change by giving more reasons for more of us to get together more often. To make it all happen we need enthusiastic people to support us along the way.

These roles are recruited on a volunteer basis with around a commitment of 4 hours per week over 6 months.

Why do we recruit volunteers? In a nutshell: community ownership. Volunteering comes from a selfless desire to contribute to the community. It’s uplifting for everyone involved and the positivity is self-perpetuating. It’s also a great chance for volunteers to up-skill without the cost usually associated with courses and training.

Volunteers are the main reason we can keep memberships so accessible. We feel this is really important as we strive to be an all-inclusive pillar of the community.

Keen? Have a look at some of the roles on offer. We’d love to hear from you.

KTM 390 Duke: Klassified Finds

What is it? It’s cheap, modern, weighs next to nothing, and has enough power to keep things interesting. What more can you ask for? While KTM cut their teeth making fire breathing single-cylinder dirt bikes, their 390 Duke lays claim to neither of these. In reality,...

Honda CT125 – the postie-bike gets a refresh

Look familiar? At a glance, it looks awfully like an old postie bike. Look a little closer though and you’ll notice disc brakes instead of drums, fuel injection instead of a carb’ and LED lights instead of the lame excuse for lights old Hondas have. In a world...
