When I was a kid growing up my dad would often take us to the Showgrounds to watch the Speedway solos and sidecars go around the trots track on the gravel on a Saturday night. I loved watching the action and always dreamed of riding motorcycles one day. I owned a 1952 Fuji 200 scooter. Then around 15 years ago I was working and an older guy showed me his 1952 BSA A7 500 twin, in his lounge room. It was in a sand coloured military paint. From there, I fell in love with classic bikes.
In 2013 I decided to buy a Royal Enfield Classic 500. In 2017 I purchased a 1980 Yamaha Virago 750 cafe racer. It had been custom built a few years ago but I decided to do some mods to make it look a little more rad. I had the seat reupholstered by Savvas Upholstery. My inspiration comes from the Ducati 900s cowl, so I have ordered one from Airtech streamlining in the states. This is going to be a challenging task, but I’m sure KK members will always be there to help me.
If I had the time over again, I wouldn’t change a thing.
