During a one-on-one training session, you’ll be shown exactly how to get the job done, working at your own pace with a dedicated instructor. We’ll explain everything from the best tools to use and why, through to how to perform the job, step-by-step.
A few pointers:
Some jobs are small, some are huge – there’s no guarantee that everything on your list will get done in the chosen time-frame. Chat to us first if you’d like to get a realistic estimate.
If you need additional time during your session and your Trainer is available, you are welcome to extend your time on the day. Extra time can be paid via card on site.
Need parts and/or consumables?
If you need parts or consumables for your booking please contact us directly. Trainers are not responsible for purchasing parts on your behalf. We’ll need at least 48 hours notice to order parts and consumables, so please book in advance.
Sometimes things don’t quite go to plan! If you are unable to ride your moto home, you are more than welcome to leave it onsite overnight. Storage is reserved for members, so if you are not a member, you’ll need to sign up as an official Kommune Member, too (you won’t regret it, there are heaps of perks!). Storage Subscriptions are $49 per week or $159 per Month. All bikes on site longer than 24 hours, must be on a storage plan.
If you don’t want to leave your bike onsite, or need it picked up, we can arrange transport for a flat fee of $50 each way (within a 25km of the workshop).

Fabricator extraordinaire, all round moto-guru. Chris runs the Kommune Welding courses and is a Fitter and Turner by trade. If you want to learn to weld, fabricate or use workshop machinery Chris is the man!
All-rounder, mechanical and general servicing is my biggest area of strength, most electrics don’t cause too much brain scratching, computers and tuning of EFI bikes more so than picking the ideal jet size in those weird old carby things. The bulk of my experience came from building and racing circuit and rally cars.
Carl is one of those blokes that just know. He's been working on motorcycles longer than you can poke a stick at. Carl run the Kommune Carb & Tuning course and is the perfect choice for both basic and advanced mechanical work.
Matt's main moto-based skills are general preparation of track bikes and periodical maintenance. He's been on a bike from twelve and while he currently rides a handful of high performance street bikes, has a special place in his heart for the good old '71 2-stroke TS90. Bwwwap!
Jimmy is the brains behind Kustom Kommune, a self taught all-rounder with a great eye for customs. If your looking to kick off a build and want to make a plan, Jimmy the go-to-guy. He's also great for first timers looking to get a basic understanding of how to use tools (and a workshop).
